Arina Korzun
Arina Korzun is a PhD student under the direction of prof. Nadezhda Nalimova in the Department of History of Art at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Her major research interests are primarily focused on monumental decorations of the Roman imperial period. Arina presented a graduate paper dedicated to the reconstruction of the program of the sculptural decoration of the ancient theater in Philippi (Northern Greece). Her PhD research is concentrated on the phenomena of the dionysiaque cycles in reliefs of the Roman theaters in Greece and Asia Minor, exploring its iconography, stylistic orientation, and semantics. Arina also took part in the excavations in the south west of Bulgaria, at the ancient Heraclea Sintica.
